Adapted from David Ebershoff's celebrated novel, The Danish Girl is inspired by the true
story of Danish painters Einar Wegener and his wife Greta. Set in Paris and Copenhagen
in the 1920s, it is the moving story of a marriage thrust into the unknown when Einar
becomes consumed with the belief he's a woman. With Greta at his side, unwavering
and unconditional in her support, Einar at last becomes who he is meant to be.
