Jerôme's father-in-law-to-be gets him a job in his company, selling books door-to-door. Sounds simple? It's not. Jerôme soon finds that he has entered a ruthless and calculating, dog-eat-dog world where weakness has no chance and mediocrity rules.
But his troubles really begin when his immediate superior gets Jerôme to put in a good word for him with the big boss. As a result, the five man sales crew sets off on an epic journey to implement "new" sales techniques and ends up testing the limits of sanity itself.
