A tort ou à raison
An attorney, a magistrate, a cop, and a court reporter. They’ve been friends for over twenty years... Friends for life? Florence Scola, Joëlle Lens, Yvan Maransart, and Mathieu Lindner have known each other since they were teenagers. They used to be five inseparable buddies until the day Joëlle’s brother Jérôme abandoned them by committing suicide. The challenge of this series: to show the day-to-day workings of the justice system and the fallibility, fragility, and humanity of those involved in it. At times their intuition keeps them on the right track, but at others, it leads them astray. This series centers on the constant weighing up of "wrong" and "right," offering a response to the much-discussed question of the "impartiality" required of investigating magistrates. In both their private and professional lives, our four protagonists are continually confronted with the contradictions of the judicial system, as well as those of the human heart and mind.
